Our Students

We offer a range of classroom support for student learning.

Students can order from the school menu from the local shop with lunches being delivered to the school.

Breakfast club run by the Pastoral Support worker is held on Wednesday mornings in the Art room to support students in the school. Lunch time activities is also a service offered by the pastoral support worker.

Students can take part in a range of Sapsasa events with many being successful in regional teams to compete in Adelaide or beyond. Trials are held throughout the year for specific sports.

Upper Primary students have a biannual camp to Adelaide and also take part in a biannual Leadership programme at Noorla- Yo-Long. Other excursions in line with the curriculum are organised when relevant to the curriculum.

Students in years 4-6 have the opportunity to learn a woodwind instrument via the Instrumental Music Service, with 1 Face to face lesson each term and the other lessons being online. All year 4-6 students take part in the choir and have the opportunity to perform at the Festival Theatre in Adelaide or the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre in Mt Gambier as part of a massed choir.

At the end of each year students in year 6 undertake Public Speaking training in order to present a speech at the Presentation Night and Concert.

All students in the school are involved in the concert by choosing music, creating choreography and the Upper primary assisting teachers with inspiration and to write the script which always has a local flavour.
